Reaching for a ball, stopping at the kitchen line and getting ready for the next shot all ask something different of your body.

Balance & control

Work on staying balanced when you reach, stop or change position. Sessions include lower-body strength and single-leg control.

  • Controlled reaching and changes of position
  • Trunk stability through everyday movement

A weekly social game and a tournament calendar need different planning. We start with how often you play, your gym experience and the time you can give to training.

Your strength sessions, court time and recovery are considered together. Let Amila know when that schedule changes.

Discuss your routine

Is this a pickleball lesson?

This is strength and conditioning for pickleball. Paddle skills, rules, and court tactics are part of pickleball instruction; this program focuses on physical preparation alongside your play.

Can I enquire if I only play socially?

Yes. Let us know how often you play and what you want to work on. You do not need to be entering tournaments to ask about training.

Do I need previous strength training experience?

No. Tell Amila what exercise you currently do, including whether you are new to the gym. That helps him plan an appropriate starting point.
