Amila Wijekoon

Founder & strength and conditioning coach


Amila’s background is in competitive javelin. His coaching began with cricketer Movin Subasinghe and badminton player Keneth Aruggoda, and grew to include athletes across cricket, badminton and tennis.

Reflecting on his diploma in 2026, Amila described working with more than 150 athletes, from junior and youth players to national and international competitors.

Experience & education

  • Coaching beyond the gym

    Amila worked in strength and conditioning with Dubai Giants in 2024. He also coaches badminton players and athletes across other sports, on court and in the gym.

  • National Diploma

    He holds the National Diploma in Sports Strength & Conditioning, adding formal study to his experience working with athletes.

  • Gold Medal for Best Student

    At the SLF Diploma Award Ceremony 2025/6, Amila received the Gold Medal for Best Student in recognition of his work during the diploma.
